1965, New York City. A bar on First Avenue and 63rd Street is approached by Alan Stillman, a perfume salesman from New York City. By dressing up this understated beer joint, he hoped to draw trendy models and stewardesses into the neighborhood. The perfume man alone transforms this modest establishment into an instant hit. He referred to it as TGI FridaysTM.
FridaysTM has become a popular spot for friends to gather and have a casual meal. It is based on a tradition of great food, creative drinks, and big fun.
